Cascale’s governance framework is driven by member insight, transparency, and equitable representation. As a global nonprofit alliance, we bring together diverse voices from across the consumer goods value chain to shape decisions that support industry transformation and collective action.

How is Cascale governed?
Board of Directors
Cascale’s elected governing body, providing strategic direction, financial oversight, and organizational governance on behalf of the membership.
Technical Advisory Council
A consultative body that provides strategic recommendations on the maintenance and evolution of the Higg Index framework, modules, and methodologies, as well as Cascale’s other tool offerings from Better Buying and the Sustainable Furnishings Council.
Membership & Stakeholder Advisory Council
A consultative body that provides strategic recommendations on membership engagement, public affairs, and programs that drive collective action across the industry.
